How do I get my kitten to stop attacking my hands?

I just got a kitten 2 days ago for Valentine's Day and he is barely 6weeks old. He loves when I pet him and hold him but when he starts getting wild he just wants to attack my hands so now I have scratches all over them. I bought him two toys; a teaser that's furry and has a bell on it and a cat nip mouse with a big feather tail but he is scared of both of them so he still always wants to play with my hands. How do I get him to stop? I hold my hands behind my back but then he climbs up over me to try to find them or he starts biting at my feet. Will he grow out of this or will it just keep getting worse?
