Why does Arizona insist on ping an immigration law that does nothing about border security?

I live in Arizona. We all saw this coming. In reality we are not surprised & a lot of the hispanics here haven't really protested. It's been quite peaceful BUT it's the ppl from other states, officials from other states, celebrities that don't even live here, etc, etc that have made more of it than we have. I'm not against it. The reality is that something had to be done.
