Are Palin and McCain just bashing Obama, to keep everyone from knowing their lack of policies?

When Palin speaks she trashes Obama, When McCain speaks he trashes Obama....what are his policies? Do they want Obama to win, b/c they talk about him more than they talk about themselves...does anyone have a statistic on how much McCain/Palin talk about Obama?
