Is there anything like the Lifedrive PDA(discontinued), how is the TX?

Is it smart to buy something discontinued.(Lifedrive), would like the fun stuff, but also nursing/medical applications, long hrs and sometimes nothing to do so need entertainment and internet access in a secure enviroment
